The Vermont Senior Games Association has reached the decision to announce the cancellations of most of our events for 2020. We are working towards staging pickleball, golf, and tennis. Unfortunately, considering current COVID-19 circumstances and trends, track and field; swimming; racquetball; triathlon; the 5K and 10K races; basketball; cycling; table tennis; cornhole; and powerwalk will all be cancelled for this year. If you have already registered for an event that has been cancelled, you will be issued a full refund.
We will be hosting pickleball, golf, and tennis with new event protocols in full compliance with Vermont’s COVID-19 guidelines. Golf and tennis will be held on the originally planned dates at the Neshobe Golf Club in Brandon and the Burlington Tennis Club, respectively. We are still working to confirm September dates and outside location(s) for pickleball – stay tuned, we will post the new dates and location(s) as soon as possible. If you have already registered for pickleball and will not be able to participate on the new event dates, you will be issued a full refund if you make the request before September 1. Registration is re-opening for golf and tennis and will for pickleball as well as soon as we have the new dates and location(s) secured.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during these trying times. We have actually been working quite a bit to sort through all of these issues, and it’s discouraging for us to cancel any event. In the case of these sports, in the end the VSGA really didn’t have much choice. In the case of the cancelled sports, in the end the VSGA really felt that we didn’t have much choice. things in 2021!
