Track and Field Championship One Month Away


The 2019 VT Senior Games Track & Field Championships will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the Burlington High School track…please note that this is a different location from last year’s meet. Burlington High School is located at 52 Institute Road, Burlington, VT, 05408. The deadline for registration is Monday June 3rd.  

Check-in and warm-up starts at 8:00 am; Declaration for all events is 30 minutes before the event. Running events will begin with the 50M and continue one after the other, with a break between the 100M and 400M. Field Events will have a 15-minute warm up after the first call. Medals will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners in 5-year age brackets for both women and men.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no hammer throw offered at this year’s meet.


Sprinticity Track Club, co-founded by Tor Dworshak and Kevin Chu, provides Vermonters of all ages and ability levels with access to USA Track & Field certified coaching. Sprinticity wants all participants to be at their very best. We invite you to join the Speed Revolution and attend the Sprinticity Skill-building Sessions in preparation for the Senior Games. 

Three sessions will be held in preparation for the June 9 event. Sprinticity will be at the UVM track (97 Spear Street in Burlington) from 6:00-7:30pm on Friday May 24, Tuesday May 28, and Thursday May 30. VSGA participants can attend these Sprinticity Skill-building Sessions for $5 per session. If you’d like to continue training with the club after May 30th, you must sign up for a membership. Private one-on-one training sessions and training plan consultations are also available.
