Track and Field

The first annual Barbara Jordan Vermont Senior Games Track and Field Championships will be held at Burlington HS on Saturday June 19. Check in begins at 8:15 AM with the first events starting at 9 AM. There will be no on-site registration – preregistration is required by June 13, 2021.

All 2021 Vermont Senior Games events will follow the current state COVID protocols and guidelines. Details will be communicated prior to the competition.

Must check out prior to competing In another event. Check back in to field event immediately after other event.

pole vault8:30am: men & women bar will not be lowered

The following field events are finals with four attempts only.

long jump9:00am: open pit-men & women
triple jump9:00am: open pit- men & women
shot put9:00am: men followed by women
discus9:00am: women followed by men
javelin9:00am: women followed by men

If entry numbers allow: Novice Throwers 1st Flight; experienced throwers 2nd Flight.

    VSGA Track and Field competitions will use the USA Track and Field rules as modified by the National Senior Games Association rules.
