Anyone at least 50 years old by December 31, 2019 may dual-register for the 2017 Vermont Senior Games Swimming Championships. Non-Vermont residents are eligible to compete; Vermont is an “Open” state.

To dual-register for the 2017 Vermont Senior Games Swimming Championships and the 4th Annual Edge Masters April Fools Meet, you must complete the paper registration form and mail it with payment to: Emily Mitchell, 623 East Hill Road, Richmond, VT, 05477. Make sure that you check the box that you would like to dual-register for the Vermont Senior Games Swimming Championships too. It won’t cost any more money but you must check the box.

Registration Form

The registration fee is $25 for up to 5 individual events for entries received by March 28, 2017. Entries received after March 28th and day-of registrations received before 11:15 am on meet day are $35.

This meet will be conducted in accordance with United States Masters Swimming rules. Could you use a little brush-up on the USMS rules related to the swim strokes, starts and turns? If you have any questions, you should attend the clinic being planned by the Williston Edge staff on Saturday, March 25th from 8:30-9:30am. The first 20 minutes will be spent in the classroom going over the rules for each stroke. Then the group will move to the pool for a demonstration in the water of each of the strokes; the Edge staff will be in the pool demonstrating proper technique and the clinic attendees can observe from the deck. There is no charge to attend this clinic and no need to pre-register, just show up at the EDGE Sports & Fitness, 115 Wellness Drive, Williston, VT, 05495.
