2018 Bowling Championship produces high scores and good times

2018 VSGA Bowling Champions

Some of Vermont’s best VSGA bowlers took over the center lanes at Spare Time in Colchester on Thursday April 12th for the 2018 Vermont Bowling Championships.

Twenty athletes competed in Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles in a “scratch” tournament managed by Sports Coordinator Glenn Enos. As always with bowling there were plenty of high fives for the sought after strikes as well as supportive camaraderie when the pins just wouldn’t fall.

All of the Bowling competitors qualified for the 2019 National Senior Games in Albuquerque, NM and several athletes said they are already making their travel plans.

Everyone cheered for overall high scorers Sandy Rotella and Howard Lewis who also received the annual trophies provide by VSGA Games Committee Chair and fellow bowler Barb Jordan.
